When I bought my first AK 47, a Romanian WASR 10 from Century, it had a nice shiny cleaning rod in the box. When I got home I quickly realized that it was actually an SKS cleaning rod. Later I found out that this is due to a rapid packaging process and not a lot of attention to detail taken. I found a new one on Brownells for 9.99. Fit perfect and had a nice clean finish. Hope this helps the rest of you that needed a new cleaning rod for your AK, or got stuck with an SKS rod.
